Your code stays on your device
Files you create, import, run, format or export are processed in your browser. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else. Projects, snapshots and preferences are stored in your browser’s IndexedDB and local storage on this device. Clearing site data, using a private window, or the browser evicting storage will remove them; export a ZIP to keep a copy.
Network requests
The site downloads its own static files (HTML, scripts, fonts, and the optional Python runtime when you choose to load it) from this domain. Your code is never placed in a request URL or body. Previews of your projects cannot make network requests unless you switch on “Network” for that project; if you do, the preview can contact whatever servers its code references.
Share links
If you create a share link, your code is compressed into the part of the URL after “#”. Browsers do not send that part to servers. Anyone who receives the link can read the code.
Analytics and advertising
This release contains no analytics. Advertising slots are disabled by default. If advertising or privacy-respecting, aggregate measurement is enabled in the future, it will never include your code, file names or other content, and this page will be updated before that happens, along with any consent controls required where you live.
Deleting your data
Open Settings in the editor and choose “Delete all local data”, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
