Terms of use

The service

OnlineCodeEditor is provided free of charge, as is, without warranties of any kind. Features run in your browser and depend on its capabilities; results such as formatting, linting, transpiling, or runtime behaviour may differ from other tools.

Your content

You keep all rights to the code you write or import. Because it is stored only in your browser, you are responsible for keeping backups by exporting your projects.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to distribute malware or to attack other systems. Code you run executes on your own device; only run code you trust, and only enable network access for previews when you understand what the code will contact.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of data or other damages arising from use of the site. Export important work regularly.

Third-party components

The site includes open-source components under their own licences, listed on the About page.
